The Sunseeker X5 Gen 2 is the mid-size model in Sunseeker's second-generation X lineup, built for lawns up to 0.5 acre (about 2,000 square meters). It navigates with AONavi, which fuses RTK satellite positioning with VSLAM 2.0 visual tracking, so you set virtual boundaries from the app instead of burying wire, and you can reshape them anytime.
Perception comes from Vision AI 2.0: a binocular camera for daytime and an iToF camera for night work, backed by a 10 TOPS AI chip with twice the processing power of the previous generation. That lets the X5 Gen 2 avoid obstacles around the clock and keep its position even when trees or buildings interrupt the satellite fix.
The drive system is a tri-wheel all-wheel-drive layout with independent suspension, 8.7 inch off-road wheels, and a rear active steering motor that turns without tearing up grass, rated for slopes up to 60 percent (30 degrees). An 8.7 inch (22 cm) floating cutting disc handles uneven ground, and a dedicated edge disc cuts as close as 1.2 inches from borders. It runs at about 60 dB, carries an IPX5 rating, and returns to the dock on its own when rain is detected.
