The Sunseeker X4 is a wire-free robotic lawn mower built around a 360-degree 3D LiDAR sensing system. Instead of a boundary wire or an RTK antenna, the X4 scans its surroundings with LidarAI, capturing over 210,000 point clouds per second across a 360 x 70 degree field of view, and fuses that with Vision AI camera perception. The result is what Sunseeker calls Drop and Go setup: place the charging station, let the mower map the lawn on its own, and start mowing.
A 10 TOPS AI chip processes the sensor data, builds an automatic 3D map of your lawn, and plans intelligent paths that split complex yards into optimized zones and cut professional-looking stripes. Obstacle avoidance works in three layers, covering floating obstacles, day and night detection, and low-profile objects near the ground, with a protective bumper as the final safeguard.
The X4 cuts a 7.9 inch (20 cm) swath with six blades on a floating disc that adapts to uneven terrain, with cutting height adjustable from 0.8 to 2.4 inches. Rear-wheel drive with off-road wheels and rear suspension climbs slopes up to 45 percent (24 degrees) and clears obstacles up to 1.6 inches tall. It is rated IPX6 against water, detects rain automatically, and this configuration is sold for quarter-acre yards.
